Two last things, but they don’t have to do with problems. Just wanted to talk about things in general.

One: I’m really glad that you started tutoring me. lt’s made me start to like math like a lot more. I used to like it a lot more, but when I started struggling a lot it didn’t become as much fun for me. It just became a lot of stress. You make it really interesting and I enjoy it.

But even though you don’t have anything to do with my English work or my science work all these other classes where I feel like you’ve increased my mindset and my work effort.

My mom asked you if I should be in honors next year. She said you didn’t hesitate, said yes right away. I’ve always kinda felt like the only person who really believed in me for school was my mom. It feels good when other people believe in me.

When we did our first session I was expecting to be super bored, honestly. Like honestly expected to be bored for like an hour and a half. I enjoyed it a lot. I remember you saying you know I think we have like 10 or 15 minutes left and I was like โ€œWhat?โ€ I thought it had been 5 minutes.”

Mission accomplished!!
